The Dienger Trading Co – The Dienger’s boutique carries a variety of goods, ranging from women’s fashion and jewelry, men’s clothing and accessories, children’s outfits and classic toys, and treasures to add a soft touch to your home. Fickle Pickles –  Carousel Antiques & Fickle Pickles was founded in 1987 by Billie A. Shaw. The Antiques soon became a backdrop to Mrs. Shaw’s Fickle Pickles®, and is now a local and tourist favorite! You cannot walk the Hill County Mile without trying a fickle pickle!

Ella Blue – Ella Blue has been a staple on the Hill Country Mile for 15 years now. If you ask us, it is our favorite spot in Boerne to get cute and on trend clothes!

Flashback FuntiquesYes, Boerne is full of Antique Stores, but Flashback Funtiques is not your typical antique store. While they do sell old stuff, they’re know to carry more unique, fun and one-of-a-kind items.

A Little Nature Store – Filled with cute bird feeders and other nature-esque accessories, A Little Nature Store is a unique stop along the Hill Country Mile. When you’re done in the store, take a walk through their picturesque garden!

Cielo Mercantile – Step through the door of Cielo and discover a fragrant, magical apothecary housed in what was once the town’s original post office. The shop’s heavenly mix of exquisite soaps, toiletries and home fragrance items are handcrafted on site in small batches. These delightful products have earned a loyal following from coast to coast for their gentle quality and remarkable essences.

Fetch and Friskers Barkery and Bow-tique – This cute little pet store makes all of their treat in house. Not only do they carry the cutest pet clothes, they also have quite the variety of leashes, collars, toys, & pet beds. When you stop by, make sure you bring your furry friend!

June 8, 2018 – AT&T Wireless has inked a deal to lease approximately 2,590 square feet of commercial retail space in the Aransas Pass Shopping Center located at 2664 Demory Lane, Aransas Pass, TX.  They are taking over the former Payless Shoe location. The building was completely remodeled after Hurricane Harvey devastated the area. The AT&T partner retailer is excited about this opportunity, and looks forward to serving the Texas Gulf Coast.

New Boerne City Hall Groundbreaking

The groundbreaking for the new Boerne City Hall will take place at the Boerne City Campus May 10th at 10:00a.m.. Boerne City Hall will house over 10 departments. It also will serve as the City of Boerne Utilities headquarters and Boerne City Council Chambers.

Background. |  City Council approved the negotiation of an architectural and engineering services contract for the design of the new City Hall at the September 13, 2016 regularly scheduled City Council meeting.

The City is using the Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) process for the new City Hall project.  The City Council also approved an agreement with Lee Lewis Construction at the February 14, 2017 meeting.

City Council approved the issuance of Tax Notes to finance the new City Hall project.  With assistance from the city’s Bond Counsel, bids were accepted. In addition, Frost Bank pledged to provide the city with $22 million at a very favorable interest rate of 1.79%.
