Boerne Vatertags Parade would like to continue the Boerne tradition of celebrating this special day within the Boerne community. Join the fun, either entering the parade or on the sidewalks as a spectator. Come out and have some fun! Enter your float online. Volunteers & sponsors needed. After the parade, head out to the Kendall County Fair Grounds (1307 River Rd, Boerne, TX 78006) for 6 hours of live music, vendors, and fun and games. The 3rd Annual KCFA Bull riding Blow Out and Dance will follow

Old West Summer Fest

Don Strange Ranch and Berges Fest have teamed up to bring you a day of lots of music and fun! A full lineup of music will be accompanied by events like dachshund races, watermelon eating contests, ziplining, and more! There will be food and beverage vendors as well as arts and crafts vendors! $20 per carload.

They’re back! Bring your families and lawn chairs to Boerne’s Main Plaza to enjoy a free musical celebration by the Boerne Concert Band. They will honor and remember our Armed Forces and selections include well-known compositions by John Williams, Hans Zimmer, and George Cohan as well as patriotic marches and medleys by John Philip Sousa. Please note that if it rains, the concert will be held in the Boerne High School Auditorium.

Join VFW Post 688 in observing Memorial Day. There will be a Memorial Day ceremony on the 31st at 11:00 a.m. in addition to placing flags on veteran’s graves on the 28th at 5:00 p.m., and Buddy Poppy distribution on the 29th.

Airrosti Rehab Centers Opening Soon at 1018 River Road, Boerne, Texas

The Boehm Team of Keller Williams Boerne is excited to announce the new lease for Airrosti Rehab Centers at 1018 River Road, Boerne, TX 78006. Airrosti has leased 2,000 sqft of space in the center that already hosts Keller Williams Boerne and Anytime Fitness. Construction will begin by the end of the year, with a tentative move-in date scheduled for March or April 2019. According to Airrosti’s website, they are “A safe and highly effective alternative to surgery, pain management, and long term chiropractic or physical therapy treatment programs.”

Glen Boehm was the leasing agent for the transaction. Glen commented, “We are excited to have Airrosti Rehab Centers as neighbors. They are a great fit for the center. The eastern section of Boerne is growing, and services like Airrosti’s is much needed. Once completed, Airrosti will have a state-of-the-art rehab center very near the intersection of River Road and Herff Road. We are very pleased to announce that this multi-year transaction completes the leasing at 1018 River Road”

New Boerne City Hall Groundbreaking

The groundbreaking for the new Boerne City Hall will take place at the Boerne City Campus May 10th at 10:00a.m.. Boerne City Hall will house over 10 departments. It also will serve as the City of Boerne Utilities headquarters and Boerne City Council Chambers.

Background. | City Council approved the negotiation of an architectural and engineering services contract for the design of the new City Hall at the September 13, 2016 regularly scheduled City Council meeting.

The City is using the Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) process for the new City Hall project. The City Council also approved an agreement with Lee Lewis Construction at the February 14, 2017 meeting.

City Council approved the issuance of Tax Notes to finance the new City Hall project. With assistance from the city’s Bond Counsel, bids were accepted. In addition, Frost Bank pledged to provide the city with $22 million at a very favorable interest rate of 1.79%.
